The next Great Valley Bookfest is Saturday, October 10, 2026, aus10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.ImThe Promenade Shops at Orchard Valley, 280 Lifestyle Road, Manteca, CA 95337 (Highway 120 at Union Road exit).

Official pages describe an outdoor, family-friendly festival with tented stages for presentations and workshops, Authors’ Alley for author talks and book signings, gourmet food trucks along Knosh Boulevard, arts and crafts vendors, booksellers, and nonprofit groups. Children’s activities include an opening parade at 10 a.m. led by live musicians. The Chalk the Block art competition invites all ages to recreate book-cover art in sidewalk chalk; supplies are provided and prizes are awarded.
