UK National Quantum Technologies Showcase 2026
The UK National Quantum Technologies Showcase 2026 returns to London on Friday 6 November 2026, 09:00-16:00, at the Business Design Centre, 52 Upper Street, London N1 0QH. Organised by Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), in collaboration with the UK National Quantum Technologies Programme (NQTP) and delivered by Innovate UK Business Connect (formerly the Knowledge Transfer Network), the showcase is the UK's biggest quantum event and one of the largest of its kind globally for frontier and emerging technologies.
The 2026 edition is framed by the theme 'Turning Breakthrough Ideas into Industry Giants' and is expected to welcome more than 2,000 attendees and around 100 exhibitors (an in-person audience of roughly 2,500 was planned in the official exhibition build tender), representing the full breadth of the UK quantum ecosystem: hardware, software, infrastructure, communications, sensing, imaging and real-world applications across healthcare, transport, finance, security, telecoms, space, defence, energy, net zero and critical infrastructure.
Programme highlights include live demonstrations, expert panels, industry sessions in expanded conference spaces, first-hand announcements from government and research councils, and direct engagement with UK national programmes, delegations and industry innovators. The showcase is an annual November fixture that has run in London for more than a decade. The 2024 edition (8 November 2024, Business Design Centre) marked the first decade of the UK National Quantum Technologies Programme and was listed by the Quantum Communications Hub; the 2025 edition (7 November 2025, Business Design Centre) was a flagship event of the UN-endorsed International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ 2025) and drew over 110 exhibitors and more than 3,000 attendees. Admission has historically been free with advance registration; delegate registration for 2026 is via the official Cvent link. The showcase is open to anyone with a stake in quantum technologies, including business and industry, government and policy, investment, entrepreneurship, research institutions and academia, as well as professionals from adjacent sectors such as photonics and semiconductors, finance, space and defence, AI and digital technologies, telecoms and IT, healthcare, robotics, electronics and energy.
