Prague International Book Fair 2027
The 32nd edition of Book World Prague (Svět knihy Praha), the international book fair and literary festival, will be held from 13 to 16 May 2027 at the Křižík Pavilions of the Prague Exhibition Grounds (Výstaviště Praha, Výstaviště 67, 170 00 Prague 7 - Holešovice, Czech Republic). Romania will be the guest of honor of the edition.
The fair is organized by Svět knihy, Ltd., a company of the Association of Czech Booksellers and Publishers, whose main activities include the international book fairs and literary festivals Book World Prague and Book World Pilsen. The programme combines a trade fair for publishers, agents and booksellers with a public literary festival of author readings, discussions, book launches and a children's programme. Since 2023 the fair has also hosted the Central and East European Book Market (CEEBM), a hub for publishers, agents and other professionals active in the Central and East European book industry.
The previous, 31st edition was held from 14 to 17 May 2026 in the newly reconstructed Křižík Pavilions and the pavilion on Bruselská street at the Prague Exhibition Grounds, with a programme focused on Europe and history that drew an estimated record 65,000 visitors.
